Well, how could one not love good old Rimsky-Korsakov? 🙂
Tomorrow at noon, I will publish a little article about the song Їхав козак за Дунай, which inspired many 19th century (and later) composers. It is one of the melodies I have called “melodie itineranti”, i.e. travelling tunes, because they have travelled extensively through time and space. I hope you will enjoy it.
